Great Boot

I bought my first pair from Israeli Army surplus in the colour green in 1985 for less than $20. I just bought a pair of the tactical boots and thinking of buying a pair of the Hi or baggy for the summer. My original pair were great and wore them for my workouts when I served in the USAF. Unfortunately they got lost in one of my PCS moves and never replaced them. These are a great light weight boot and would recommend them. On sizing I wear a 9.5 in most shoes and a size 10 in most boots; so I would order a size 10 for myself.

orthonics do not fit

Due to a disability I have Orthotics for both feet and often have problems getting shoes to fit. Without the orthotics both shoes fit great and were so light it was like having nothing on; when I put the inserts in the shoes they were way too small and just were not going to work for me. I would have loved to keep them and even went as far as to look up the company's web site hoping they made a wider width as that would have solved my issues, but alas no luck.

Great Boot

Really cool shoes

These are a great style and we liked them even better when we learned they were from a French company that started out making vulcanized rubber tires for airplanes. My favorite metal fabricator is wearing them in his shop this summer, and he says they keep his feet cooler than his usual work boots, while still offering a substantial reinforced toe cap and a very heavy-duty sole. His feet are a little wide and they fit well overall but the toe box is a little shallow.

Classic (Urban) Boot

Got these for the NY Fall and love them. Owned a pair for years that I ruined during a trip to France and just replaced them. Don’t bother with more expensive Pampas, these are perfect. Fit great, have some built in arch support (unlike other shoes that look similar) and they are durable. My last pair was useful in wet or dry weather - it’s a nice thick material, not thin canvass. True to size, light for a boot and comfortable.

Fantastic shoes

These shoes fit me snuggly, they are sturdy and well constructed, and they are very comfortable to wear all day. I have unique gait that makes most shoes feel uncomfortable to me, and I go through pairs quickly. These shoes are the best I have ever worn.
