Palermo Elevata Platform Sneaker (Women)

I was looking to switch up my usual Addidas platform gazelle's with a new brand. These caught my eye so I thought I'd give them a try. There is something about this style that makea them look clunky in a very unattractive way. Maybe it's the overall "round" shape, or that the platform tread is all one piece instead of how addidas does it, where it looks like layers of tread to create the platform. They kind of reminded me of orthopedic shoes. Not good. And in the online pic the gum tread is a light brown, when in person the entire shoe including the tread is a darker brown. There is nothing mauvey brown with cream accents about this shoe. It's a darker than pictured brown with a khaki accents.

I love these but taking them back today because they are just a tiny bit short in length. I am always a 9 and in these my big toe is right up at the end. I walked around my house a little bit and I think it's going to be a problem. My foot is on the narrow side and the width feels fine to me. Very cute shoes. I will try them in 8.5 if they have them in stock.
