Paisley Long Sleeve Tiered Minidress

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to love this dress. It is beautiful and well made. I loved the structure of the neckline and the sleeves. The fabric also is soft and feels like quality material. The little elements like the ruffles made it feel feminine and flowy. A perfect option for summer. I think the sizing was slightly off for me. It lists it as a mini dress. I’m 5’3, and the dress comes to my knees. Would be great for a taller woman. I am also a size 6 and the dress I am wearing is a 14. It does seem to run on the smaller side. I don’t think my bust would have been able to fit into a smaller size of this dress.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] BCBG has the best modern styles for a reasonable price and this is a truly beautiful dress. I love the pattern, it’s delicate and unique without being overwhelming. The combination of paisley pattern with feminine flowers is great. The ruffles are super cute and it’s a good length, falling right below the knee on my petite height. I also love the ties that drape off of it. The body of the dress is lined, which keeps it modest, but the sleeves are sheer making it lightweight and good for year-round. I did find some loose threads and other manufacturing defects, specifically along the sleeve, hems, and draping pieces. This was disappointing, but it was easy enough to cut the loose threads. I also think that the sizing is a bit off. It runs big and the size 16 was quite large on me. The arms were also far too long. I would recommend sizing down, especially to get some shape since it is quite a loose fitting dress. There’s good space on top for woman with a larger bust, which is amazing.
