Love these! Great for 5'3" height
I'd say the wash on these is exactly as-pictured in Nordstrom's photos; barely-faded, dark indigo. I have another pair of Paige Transcend Verdugo crops in black which I love, in size 26, and these 26s fit the same. The rise is just right. They're perfect ankle length on me, not full length (I rolled the hems in my pics because I like that look). I don't find them to stretch much at all, maybe some slight wrinkling at the knees. They do require a belt, but I never find jeans that don't. They're super snug on me (tag says Ultra Skinny.) The only slight downside is that I've got an ample rear-end, and the small-ish back pockets emphasize that, in my opinion. The tag warns that dye may transfer onto lighter clothing, so I'm going to wash them a few times first.

Defective? Baggy knees
I have a few pairs of PAIGE jeans with no stretching issues. I've had these for two months and after the first wash the knees get baggy within 15 minutes of my putting the jeans on. I basically can't wear them. And it's not just the knees, it's the thighs too. I purchased my regular size. They are (appropriately) tight when I first put them on after a wash (I've washed them maybe 3 times) but then they completely lose their shape after I walk around or sit for a few minutes. I'm wondering if these are somehow defective. Doubt I could return them since I've washed and worn them, but these can't possibly be the same jeans everyone else has with 5* reviews.

finally!
These jeans are amazing! I have a hard time finding jeans because I'm curvy and petite. I'm 5'3 135lbs and the 28 fit me perfect. Perfect length too. Very flattering

Soft and Stretchy
I purchased both colors (Midlake in crop and Bonnie Grey in ankle) in this style jeans in size 26 and love them. These are actually my first expensive jeans purchase, and I am sold! For reference, I am just under 5', 109 lbs on a good day with an athletic build, thicker thighs and curvy butt, and usually a size 0 to 2. It is very difficult to find jeans that fit my short stature, but can also complement my curviness without looking like a sausage. I am ecstatic that these jeans fit the bill! These are super soft, stretchy and actually make me feel like my thighs are skinnier and perhaps, have a slight thigh gap. Woot! I am having them altered a few inches to hit right at my ankle, but I'm thinking I could have also left the "crop" one unaltered, which would leave it just slightly bunched up at my lower ankle.

Best Jeans Ever
I love the color! They're a very dark blue and these are incredibly soft and fit me perfectly with no need for alterations as full-length jeans on me and for reference, I'm 4'10". Love that Nordstrom carries size 23! I'm buying these in every color!

Perfect for petites!
I absolutely love Paige denim. They are comfortable, soft, and have the right amount of stretch. For reference, I’m 4’11’’ 100lbs and size 23 fits great. The verdugo crop hits right at my ankles. No cuffing or hemming required. Would definitely recommend for fellow petites!
