Transcend Laurel Canyon High Waist Raw Hem Flare Jeans

I usually go for dark denim but these caught my eye. Tried them on and loved the fit—super flattering on an hourglass figure. They’re soft and have a perfect amount of stretch. I’m 5’9” 160 lbs and I went with size 29. I used Nordstrom’s alteration services to hem them as they’re a bit long. I’ve used this service many times in the past with a great outcome. Unfortunately, they came out a bit too short for my taste. The flare design was too compromised and I was bummed considering the price of these jeans. I took them back to the store and Nordstrom’s excellent customer service didn’t disappoint. They gladly took them back, even after the store had removed the tags when they were altered. I have a new pair on the way that I think I’ll just leave long. Thank you Nordstrom for going above and beyond my expectations!

Loved the length (great for tall women), and the concept. Just didn’t work on me. I am 5’10”, 155, athletic build, 30 waist, 40 hips. These should have worked in a 31 but were too big in waist and slightly big throughout; just not flattering. I have muscular thighs and bum so maybe just not the right style for me.

These jeans feel like butter, they’re much softer than typical jeans but I really like that about them. I ordered a 27, but wish I sized down because they’re a lot of stretch. I’m tall, 5’8” and usually have a hard time w jeans unless I find longs or brands that run long and these definitely run long. I’ll need to wear them with heels or they’ll drag. But they’re extremely flattering. Happy with this buy.
