'Transcend - Skyline' Skinny Jeans

These jeans are amazing at first. They are the most comfortable and best fitting jeans I have ever purchased, but that only lasted for about 5 months. After excellent care-taking, these jeans did stretch out a tremendous amount. Now they are very baggy, and there are strange places where the fabric has rippling, kind of like a strange ruching on 1 back pocket, 1 knee, and a few places on the legs. They are still very soft, but I cannot wear them because they look so sloppy. This is not what I expect from a quality brand.

So, the transcend denim is supposed to not stretch out. I find that it still does. These jeans are super soft and comfy. But, they run a little big in the waist and hip--good for no muffin top, bad for staying put around your waist. I have to hike them up. And when they start to slide down, it causes the knees to get a little baggy. Not a good look when they are tucked into boots. So, while I wanted to love these jeans, I don't. I'm keeping them though because they are good enough--soft and comfortable and stylish. Just not the jeans of my dreams.

The website care instructions here do not match the tag on the jeans. The tag says hang dry! I do not like hang dry jeans. They are heavy and take a long time to try, and usually the dryer helps jeans get their shape back. Luckily, the shape has been ok so far, except the waist. It's too big and I have to keep pulling them up while I'm wearing. Has anyone else tried drying them? I'm afraid it might ruin them. It's strange because I have a couple of pairs of these jeans in the same style name and size, but in the Twilight color, and they have a different fabric composition. The twilight ones fit much better in the waist and they are tumble dry. I would not buy these again, but would buy the twilight pair again.

I've worn my Paige Transcend jeans no more than 5 times, washed on cold and dried on VERY LOW. The fabric has completely deteriorated, and shows this weird ripple affect, basically looks like what happens to a swimsuit after it's been worn a while. Paige needs to figure out how to fix...

Be careful about these jeans, I set them on my white bedding and they bleed blue dye all over my bedding. And it won't come out, make sure u wash them when u get them... I wish I was told about this, :(

I have been searching for the perfect dark wash skinny jeans for 2+ years and my stylist pointed me to these jeans. They are great! Just the right amount of stretch and with a cotton/rayon blend they are even more soft than you could possibly imagine. I liked these jeans so much I have them in white, too. Buyers should note that these sit fairly low on the hip. True to size, even with the stretch. Also great for larger thighs :)
