Perfect Jeans
The Laurel Canyons are my favorite jeans of all time. I have them in several different washes and I love them all. However, you need to know that the McKinley wash really does not stretch out like most other washes because it does not have any spandex in it. It's 60% cotton and 40% polyester and there is little to no stretch or give. I buy this wash in one size bigger than my other Paige jeans and do not ever put them in the dryer. That being said, this is a fabulous dark wash and a great cut of jean. It's very slimming! Paige jeans are long, as are all premium jeans, but I find that I don't need to hem them if I wear them with heels (I'm 5'6).

too low waisted in the back
Paige makes beautiful denim but these jeans went far too low in the back and had no stretch at all. I love low-rise jeans but they should be at least 12.5 to 13 inches in the back and low in the front. These did not work.
Hidden Hills Mckinley, however, are fantastic. Try those instead.

These jeans are awesome!! I never thought of trying Paige jeans until a girl in TBD brought them to me in the dressing room and I fell in love. They are so incredibly comfortable and fit like a glove. I am tall, 5'9", and they're a perfect length on me, which is hard to find in jeans. I can wear heels without them looking short. They can be casual, yet the denim is dark enough to dress up. Love, love, love these and want to get a second pair!

These are a good classic jean. I have a few pairs of the Laurel Canyon in the McKinley wash in different inseams for when I want to wear heels or flats. I really like the dark wash color of this color. They run true to Paige sizing.

Nice jeans - but polyester?
Laurel canyon is one of my all time favorite jean styles. But There are two things wrong with this particular wash. First, for some reason the jeans are made with a polyester blend!? This made the jeans really itchy and uncomfortable for me to wear (I have sensitive skin, so maybe other wearers won't have this problem). Next, the beautifull dark wash fades quick and gets a streaky, almost shimmery look to it. I guess some people may like it but I don't.

Awesome Fit
I LOVE these jeans. They are very subtle, but can be dressed up or down. They are extremely comfortable. Be sure to order your hip size, and not your waist size. I almost ordered a 25, but the 26 fits my thigh/hips area perfectly. I just need to wear a belt since my waist is a bit smaller. Great jeans and very comfortable and that's what I wanted most!
