Tried on a ton of wide leg jeans looking for a just right fit and these won. Wide but not too wide, soft denim, just perfect. If you prefer a thicker denim these are not for you, but I prefer a softer material with a great deal of stretch. They hit right at the ankle on my fram but I am 5'5" with short legs. Debating on whether I want to tailor them shorter.
