Salad Spinner

When I first moved out and got my own place getting a salad spinner was so important to me as I use it to wash the lettuce and dry it while keeping the lettuce crisp. I also use it to wash my vegetables and fruits as it’s used for so much stuff and is so easy to use while being stable. I like how the materials are only a three piece set and easy to clean and store away

This salad spinner is easy to use and gets a lot of water out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It seems like when salad spinners first came out, everyone got one, but before too long they were relegated to a back corner of the cupboard. This Oxo salad spinner is my first one. After the recent cyclosporiasis outbreak, I’m buying more whole heads of salad greens and bunches of fresh spinach rather than pre-packaged. I was wasting a lot of paper towel trying to dry my greens after washing them. Now I wash each leaf, tear it up into the colander part of the salad spinner, give it all another strong spray of water, and spin away! My salad greens are dry, crisp, and clean. I love it! Definitely a worthwhile purchase.

It is great! My question is - can I put it and a couple storage containers in the dishwasher? I do not see it on the products nor on the packaging.

This gift was exactly what my son-in-law was looking for! Time will tell if this model holds up as well as my own, which is nearly 10 years old.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This salad spinner works reliably. It seems to be well made.
