Oversize Plaid Flannel Hooded Zip Jacket

Elwood clothes feel like wearing a cloud, meaning: great quality in the most important aspects, including fabric, and so great value overall. But their consistency in XL torso length was almost non-existent in my most recent purchase of 6 XL Elwood sweatshirts, hoodies, and light jackets. There was too great a variance in torso length among the items. I don't mind the one I got that is on the longer side, but this jacket's particular torso length was nearing crop top territory. It was strange and unexpected how short the torso was. What's more odd is that it's an 'Oversized' item. I wish I had measured the torso length. Alas, I gave it away to a homeless person, who is now definitely more stylish and comfortable. I can only speculate why the torso length was so short. It might be quality control. Either way, I felt uncomfortable with the idea of returning it, since I washed them one time. (I followed care instructions and dried it on Extra Low.) I love Elwood so far, and so I'm giving this item a 'grade-inflated' 4 out of 5 stars. But unfortunately for me in particular it feels like I flushed a Benjamin and then 25 more dollars down the toilet.
