Swift Lite Drawstring Shorts

I have maybe 20 or pairs of shorts from corduroy to denim and cotton. These are my favorite pair of shorts. Im about a 34-35 waist 200 pounds 6'2" and extra large fit me perfect.

This is my second pair of the "Swift Lite Hybrid shorts", this one in last season's Willow (green) color, purchased at an authorized Outdoor Research retailer. These are my favorite shirts, period. Even with the never used zipper cargo pocket. The fit is perfect and they are light and stretchy, but never feel flimsy or fragile. I literally wear them everyday from May to September. (These are the exact same shorts as the previous "Astro shorts", which I have in Ranger Green - the best Outdoor Research color). My idea of perfection for these shorts would be changing the zipper cargo pocket on the thigh to a "hip zip" pocket sized to fit the average cell phone. Because the material is light and stretchy, it makes being active with a phone in the normal hand pockets dicey because it bounces around too much. A hip zipper pocket would center the weight and eliminate the bounce factor and make it secure. Very few makers get the hip zip perfect. It needs to sit in back of the center seam on your hip that runs parallel to the center of your thigh line and not be too large to allow the phone to slip sideways during activities. I hope that Outdoor Research keeps this model (even with the cargo zipper pocket) in their offerings because it is my favorite item and will buy them every year.

The shorts are super durable and lightweight breathable. However due to the cut/design, the shorts can be a bit tight/smaller than the actual sizing
