Best jacket so far

Has lots of features and pockets that are actually useful. Such as, an elastic strap that goes around your waist to keep all of your heat in and the snow out. Comfortable to wear in Breckenridge at -5 and just below freezing. Ordered one size up because I was right on the line and it worked well with adding other warming layers. Water proofing was great as well. All around great jacket for the price.

It fits great and is nice and warm. Unfortunately not very durable. Took it out as soon as I got it for a hike. First (and only) fall, the sleeve ripped pretty bad, now needs a patch to keep it usable. Disappointed in the quality for the price. Have had other coats from different brands that have gone through a lot worse and have held up.

Well fitting, warm, comfortable. Worn it in negative temps in Montana and wet sierra days and it worked great in both. Surprisingly waterproof.

Extremely warm and versatile used it for skiing in Washington and Canada in both sunny and windy cold days was able to stay warm or shed heat with the large side vents wish there was mesh in the vents to stop powder from entering when skiing hard

OR Snowcrew jacket

I needed to replace an aging Gore-Tex shell for skiing and had heard some good things about OR jackets. I’ve been using their gloves and mitts for years for skiing and ice climbing but had not needed a jacket. This jacket is well thought out! I most appreciate the svelte insulation in the body and the arms- it’s amazing how warm this jacket is on the coldest mornings without looking like I’m wearing a 8000m parka. The relaxed fit and allows for layering for extra nippy days. As a ski jacket, the helmet-sized hood and many pockets serve my needs on the mountain. The only thing I would love to have had a pocket on the left upper arm for my ski pass. OR for the win!

Warm and breathable. Plenty of pockets for phone, wallet, keys. Used in back country/resort skiing.
