Not waterproof, wouldn't recommend
I have worn the jacket a few times in wet weather and it has not been waterproof so my fleece has got wet underneath. The pockets have also leaked so my mobile phone now won't charge. Wouldn't recommend buying if you are looking for something waterproof! I also found that when zipped up to the very top it scratches my face due to the scratchy and hard plastic.

great everyday rain jacket
fit is true to size.
I wear this jacket around my New England town whenever it's raining and it's perfect. The jacket breathes well, and keeps me dry. The draw string adjustment works great, the hood is spacious but fits my head well. A great every day rain jacket.

Lightweight Hardshell does not disappoint
This shell is truly waterproof and lives up to the OR name. The only reason I rated it a 9 instead of a 10 is because I'd really love if it were a tad quieter. I will say, I have an arcteryx alpha hardshell as well and the OR shell is a slightly softer/more buttery and quieter. I would say it is tts for a rain jacket. I typically wear a medium in shirts and I got a large in this so I could wear a mid layer comfortably underneath.

Completely Dry!
Bought this for a trip to England. Constantly drizzly and rainy. Wore a sweater underneath and it was perfect for the wet 50's. Packed small for my bag when not outside and didn't want to keep it on. Zippers and seams are all taped and tight to keep all of the elements out.

Great Jacket
Wonderful jacket for the PNW winter and spring showers. Packs well and is fit to size accurately. The jacket kept me dry in pouring down rain.
