Oud Satin Mood Fragrance Ritual Set

As far as unisex fragrances go, this one definitely veers more towards the masculine, however it's s sweet, addictive and unique fragrance, and even if I don't feel confident enough to pull this one off at work or social gatherings, I still keep a tiny vial of it just for me, and me alone, for my own smelling pleasure. Despite the 'Oud' references, the oud note itself is never overpowering, not in the eau de parfum and not in the extrait either. From the two, the extrait is my favorite, it's sweeter, less powdery, and has a more predominant lychee fruit accord which hits you from the get go. That plus a nice amount of woodiness and smoke. On dry down I catch a hint of cinnamon and the fragrance itself becomes a touch more powdery - although nowhere near as much as the EDP. I also find longevity better with the extrait...although it costs quite a bit more too! I absolutely love the gold lid and heavy glass bottle packaging that this comes in. Satin Mood is my favorite after Baccarat Rouge 540 - a delicious cotton candy scent that just like this one may be too sweet for some and likewise has some serious lasting power (on my clothes I can detect both of these weeks later, especially Satin Mood which has some phenomenal lasting power on fabric, but on skin not so much).
