Odd length

I wanted to love this. The material is a nice weight, not too heavy and perfect for a flight. The texture is lovely and it is a little boxy in shape. I bought a large hoping it would be a little oversized which it was. The problem is the length, it is shorter than waist length, but not quite cropped and it has side slits which hit in a weird spot. I have a normal to shorter toro.
