Details & care

This high-capacity, high-utility backpack has a hybrid design so you can carry it like luggage when traveling through airports and reconfigure it to carry on your back while you're on the trail. The travel-ready design lets you pack it like a suitcase, while it also packs into its own protective bag for shipping as checked baggage.

Closure: Zip-around front panel.

Exterior features: Removable sleeping pad straps; upper-side and front-panel compression straps stabilize loads; zip top, vertical-front and hip-belt pockets; durable stretch-woven side pockets; padded tubular side grab handle; Daylite attachment loops/external attachment points; vertical front panel quick-zip pocket; 3D-tensioned breathable mesh back panel with side ventilation; soft, edgeless padded mesh harness with 4-plus inches of adjustability for perfect fit; adjustable sternum strap with magnetic bite valve attachment; breathable, stowaway reverse spacer mesh hipbelt; 4mm LightWire peripheral frame effectively transfers the load from harness to hipbelt.

Interior features: Multifunction sleeve carries a hydration reservoir or tablet/laptop in padded case; dual internal compression straps with fabric wings keep clothes neat.

Special features: Protective travel AirCover® doubles as a waterproof rain cover in stormy weather and stows away in a labeled exterior pocket when not in use. Webbing straps on the front panel of the pack come in handy when you need to bring an additional Farpoint/Fairview or Daylite pack, and the tensioned mesh backpanel keeps the weight off the back, enabling highly ventilated carrying comfort.

Plenty of storage - big

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Plenty of storage - big main compartment. I wish pockets on the belt be wider, otherwise everything looks and feels great

ONE BIG MISTAKE.

Good bag pretty much no complaint EXCEPT ONE BIG ONE.... The small zipper at the botttom of the bag that can be separated as separate compartment doesn't have lock. So technically when you're travelling in a plain and have the main zipper locked up, people can technically still make their way inside your bag without any issue through the zipper at the bottom which was a huge disappointment. So to be honest I dont really see the point of having any secure method of travelling with this bag... so best to keep just unwanted and less valuable things in here while flying with it.

Mr Matthew Block

I purchased the bag last year for a trip this year that I have just completed, the bag itself is fine but the cover bag has simply fallen apart after 2 flights only. Material has ripped and the zips completed has just torn apart. Very unhappy about this and would like to know how I can get a new replacement cover pls.

So far so good

Bought this for a two week camping trip and it’s different. It has no top opening, it’s all accessible from the back. That said I’m gradually getting used to it and it’s super comfortable even when fully loaded 👍
