Oskan Hobo Bag

This bag is beautiful. The cognac color is gorgeous, the proportions are nice, the boho vibe is cool and elevated. But after looking at it in my closet for a couple of days, I just couldn’t find anything that made it worth the price. It’s a pretty basic bag. The suede is high quality, but I can’t imagine that the stitching will hold up over the years (you can actually see a couple loose ones in the photos). There is no inside pocket to secure small things, and the companion wallet that comes with it looks and feels cheap, I’d never use it. It’s hard to get things in and out due to the shape of the bag (everything pools at the bottom of the “u” and the short strap can’t really be pushed to the side), so it’s the kind of bag you’ll spend a lot of time digging around in. It’s also kind of an awkward fit. It looks cool around the shoulder but, because the widest and floppiest part is at the top, it feels bulky under your arm. The inner lining feels a bit cheap. The dust bag feels very cheap, which is one of those details that makes me question a luxury brand. I guess I need a bag with fewer cons to spend this kind of money on it. If it comes up on sale I’ll buy it back and lengthen the strap a couple of inches so that it sits in a more comfortable spot and has more clearance when rummaging around.
