Pleated Poplin Minidress

This is a beautifully made summer dress, but.... the style is one that would only look great on a tall thin individual... that's no longer me. The waist area was much tighter then I expected, and the sleeves were very puffy. It's a fun design, for the right individual. The fabric was nice and the color was rich. I was very disappointed at the way it was boxed. It was folded into a small 8"x11" plastic bag and put into a cardboard box. This was an expensive designer dress, over $ 1,100, to be shipped that way was shocking. I also ordered an Oscar de la Renta dress from Bergdorf Goodman's and received it in a special blue box, inside the cardboard shipping box, carefully wrapped with lots of paper and a seal on the paper... very nice.
