Silverati Conditioner

This conditioner is the best I have used on my salt and pepper hair for purposes of shine and bringing out the various shades of gray (silver) and white. I also bought the shampoo, but someone once told me that the best "work" is done by the conditioner - so I tend to go through the conditioner faster and use it even when I have used a another shampoo first. I leave it on for two minutes, minimum, and it works wonders. Everyone talks about the Oribe fragrance, so let's get that out of the way first. It is really lovely, but alone, it would not be worth the price. What makes it (almost) worth the price is that the shine and variations of gray and white hair look so wonderful after using this product. The four stars is because - as great as the product is - no hair conditioner is worth this price. But if people like me are willing to splurge and pay it, then the price will stay where it is. I use it only two or three times a week and use Aveda Shampure on all other days. It balances out the price difference, and the Aveda does not un-do what Oribe SIlverati does. In other words, the Oribe Silverati has some staying power. One more thing, this conditioner (and matching shampoo) produces a very different result from the purple shampoos. I know. Aveda Blue Malva is sitting half-used in the bathroom shower, having been trumped by the Oribe Silverati the first time I tried it. I also tried the Oribe for Blondes and sent it back after one use. The purples and blues just don't do the same thing for gray or gray-to-white hair that this one does. That may change when I turn all white, but for right now, for showing off my grays and salt & pepper, this is the product. Use sparingly and give up your morning lattes on the way to work to justify the cost. It's worth it.

I love the Oribe products. Now that I have gone gray I ditched the cheap purple products suggested by my stylist. In her mind, I only needed to use the shampoo once a week or so but that product left my hair like straw. The Oribe Silverati products smell fantastic and leave my hair full and soft.

Thank you Oribe! I've been searching high and low for a shampoo and conditioner to keep my platinum hair platinum, without the PURPLE. This is it! This "Silverati" line is a shiny silver color, no blue, no purple...Not only does it brighten my hair, but leaves it feeling soft and healthy every single time. I am on my second bottle of both the shampoo and the conditioner. Love it!

I use this conditioner along with the Oribe Silverati Shampoo. I was somewhat skeptical that it would be an asset to my grey hair. Oh, Yes! My hair has never looked as good - the combo of Silverati shampoo and conditioner was the answer to brightening my white and lifting my dark grey - You will not be sorry if you try Silverati products
