Organic Hydrocotton Bath Towel

We purchased these organic hydrocotton towels as we loved the original hydrocotton towels and needed more. It was so disappointing to see Nordstrom had discontinued and replaced them with a pricer organic version. Don't love that these towels are more expensive, but can confirm they are just as soft and plush as the original hydrocotton towels. They also look nearly identical, and we cannot tell the difference between the old ones and the new organic ones on the bathroom shelf. Again, don't love the price, so we will be waiting until they go on sale to purchase more.. but we will be purchasing more. We love them.

I purchased a full set of these towels during the anniversary sale. They are extremely soft and plush. Before using them for the first time, I washed the towels using the tag instructions but unfortunately they started to fall apart - I didn't even get a chance to use the towels yet. Terrible quality and I do not recommend.

While the quality looks good, and the towel is admittedly very soft, it DOESN'T ABSORB WATER!!!!! I have never used a towel that works as poorly as this one considering that drying yourself, (that is removing water from your skin by absorbing it), is the primary function of a bath towel. Other than the fact that this towel doesn't do that at all well, it feels very soft and looks good. The Boll and Branch towels I have bought from Nordstrom are superior. If you want a towel that works, don't buy this one.

These towels are so disappointing. I bought a set of dark gray and beige towels during the Anniversary sale and was so exciting to finally replace my Costco towels of 10 years. However, after just a few uses, one of the gray towels discolored badly. I had not changed anything in my showering regiment and I use the free and clear detergents in my wash. So I bought another one to replace it. That one discolored too. Then, as I was just folding the new beige towels, I noticed those discolored as well. Seriously? I paid quite a bit for these and the set is now ruined. Not once in the 10 years I had my Costco towels did those discolor. I feel like I’ve been duped. Not happy at all.

I had bought a large set of these towels for my main bathroom about three years ago and they are still wonderful. I recently bought a set of three for a spare bathroom in a different color. They were packaged differently one towel is the same quality as the older towels that I own. thick, soft and wonderful. The rest of the set was highly inferior. I am really disappointed and will not buy these towels again as they are not inexpensive. If Nordstrom is going to downgrade the quality so noticeably, they should also be reducing the price. So, if you are counting on these to be the same quality is ones you bought two or three years ago you will be very disappointed.
