Disappointed
These towels have been a staple in my home for years. Four sets arrived today from the anniversary sale. The quality is not the same. In the past, the towels are thick and incredibly soft. These towels are thin and almost translucent. Comparing the quality side by side to by older towels has left my disappointed. Guests to my home used to comment on my Nordstrom hydrocotton towels softness. These new towels look and feel like they came from IKEA.
The gray towel is from 3 yo. The white is what arrived today. The white are so thin that you can see light through the towel. Notice the line of light along the stitching.

Bring back the old, luxurious towels.
I bought new towels because I was in love with my old Nordstrom’s towels, also from Turkey. I honestly was so disappointed because they did not hold up the same after washing. The old ones stayed luxurious, soft, and thick for many years, whereas new ones lost their softness and don’t feel as thick (they’re just like any other regular towel) . They honestly need to bring back the old towels that feel and look luxurious and wash like a dream.

Nice Quality
This is a nice, thick quality towel. If you like a real cottony feel, this is probably not for you. The feel of this towel is between a cotton and microfiber, so if you have sensory issues with microfiber, I would say skip. That being said, this towel is between those two textures. It is extremely absorbent.

The pink is brown!
Was so excited for these towels, but a warning to you all, the “pink fawn” color is not as pictured at all!!! It’s basically a rosy brown. I’m so disappointed. Do not fall for the lovely color pictured as I did. Two stars because they feel soft.
