This dress fits well and is beautifully crafted. However, if you’re not a bustier woman, it may run large in the bust. Additionally, you might need to add a hook and eye on the front of the dress, a few inches above the waist, to prevent it from gapping open when you sit down. The color is incredible; it’s not quite a navy blue, but rather a lighter shade with a more vibrant lift that makes it stand out. I received many compliments. I love this dress, it’s very lady!

Purchased for mother of the groom dress in 2025 and the teal is beautiful for a late afternoon wedding. The style is modern with classic elements - v neck, simple bodice and pleated skirt which floats effortlessly when walking. Travels well with minimal care. Fits like a glove with putting a single stitch to keep the deep v from gapping too much. Both size 6 and 8 fit well, but opted for a little more room in the bodice so went with the size 8. Wedding in October in Las Vegas so recreated an old Hollywood/Vegas elegance vibe (Flamingo Hotel, little White Chapel, Barry’s Steakhouse, etc). Two total strangers complimented on dress while waiting for a Lyft. Returned from dry cleaners perfectly as pleats had no need for high maintenance. I learned years ago, dry cleaners will charge for each pleat to be ironed.

I tried the 16 and the 18. I’m normally a 16 and it was great but for me the pleats in front bunched. It could just be sewing on that one garment. Bottom line size is true. I’m 5 11 and 200 lbs and full figure. Dress was just below the knee and pretty but tailored. Sharpe. I’d recommend it. I’m going to try another 16
