Jo Malone Orange Marmalade
I was able to try a sample I received in the store of the Jo Malone Orange Marmalade, and knew after a couple of tries I wanted to order this limited edition but popular fragrance, it arrived safely and boxed beautifully.

Disappointed and Embarrassed
I was excited to order this fragrance for a special friend as a Christmas gift. I ordered online as the closest Nordstrom store is 2 hours away and the expected arrival was between Dec 21-23, which would get it to me in time to gift to my friend. The perfume didn’t arrive in time, but Nordstrom did send some free samples which I wrapped and gave along with a card saying that the cologne was on its way. I received the package today in a padded mail envelope which contained a bottle of cologne in NO BOX. I am embarrassed to give this! It’s tacky and gives the appearance of a regifted item. I just read a review about this item dated Oct 22nd from a purchaser who stated that it was the 3rd time they had received a Jo Malone fragrance from Nordstrom with no box. The customer service response indicated that this issue had been addressed and assured that this concern was corrected. Apparently not! Nordstrom must know that many fragrance purchases in December are intended as gifts, and to ship these items without the original packaging is poor practice. I called Customer Service upon receiving this and was told that since I made the purchase as a guest and not an account member my only recourse is to repurchase the cologne and return the original with a return label they would send. This doesn’t feel acceptable. First, it requires that I make another purchase and then requires that I go to the trouble of shipping the original and waiting for a refund. I do not have great confidence in this, plus it puts the onus of this mishap on me. I feel this should have been addressed without requiring a new purchase from me, hoping that I will not receive another unboxed cologne, and then waiting for a refund. I know that I would never be handed an unboxed cologne at a Nordstrom perfume counter, so I believe online customers deserve the same consideration. I was told when I called that this was the only solution Nordstrom could offer, for something that was clearly your error. Nordstrom, you could and should do better, especially since you know that I am not the first customer this has happened to.

Doesnt last unfortunately
I found it to be pleasant on my skin however it didn’t last. Within an hour of spraying it on it was gone. They recommended layering it, but unfortunately at nearly $200 a bottle. I’m not going to spend more money in order to make it work. Really a bummer!

No Box
This is the third time I’ve ordered Jo Malone fragrance and didn’t receive a box. Tired of this Nordstrom. Jo Malone always comes in a box from other stores. I’ll be returning this bottle.

Not what I was expecting
When I think of Orange Marmalade I think it would be sweet smelling but this was more of a mix between a orange and vanilla musk scent. I am happy this did come back in stock so I could’ve tried it!

smells like a chemical cleaner
Sadly this smells like a lemon scented detergent rather than an expensive perfume! Not expected from the prestigious house of Jo Malone perfumes sadly !

Great, but no box.
I ordered this cologne for someone else, and it did not come in a box, just wrapped in tissue paper. I am disappointed because I thought it would come with the box, and look all nice, and not tacky and regifted.
