Optimist 5-Pock Cord Pants

I'm writing this review as I wear these pants at work. I am 6-1/ 215 and ordered the XL.They are a thinner, summer weight cord material, which in Texas is usually better. But today, it's 30 degrees outside and they are not very warm at all. They are a perfect length, but I nearly sent them back, because they have a higher waist than I like and when they 'settle' to their natural resting area on my hips, my wife said I suffer from the dreaded 'poopy pants' look, with an excess of material drooping below my crotchel area. I'm hoping that there is enough cotton in the cotton-blend to make them shrink up if I dry them on High, to where this isn't as big of a long-term issue.
