Ribbed Sweater Tank Dress

This was a last minute order for a trip to Florida. I’m 5’2” with a 40C chest. Due to chest size I tend to order up but this is huge. (Medium) But I was leaving for Florida with no time to order another. I decided to ignore the hand wash instructions & washed it in hot water on gentle & put in a hot dryer. (Which did cause minor pilling at hem) It did shrink enough to wear but had to be careful not to slump my shoulders else the straps slip off. Even with these issues the dress is devastating on! When I got home I ordered the next size down, a small, it fits better but I suspect an XS would’ve been better. My boyfriend loved it & I felt like a million!!! Very comfortable fabric too!! It is thick, too warm for daytime in Florida but appropriate for the cooler evening hours.

I love the dress. I purchased the ivory one first and loved the classic look and the overall feel of the dress. The fabric is heavy and works for cooler weather. I wanted to purchase black due to the above, but was very disappointed in the purchase. Unfortunately, the dress came to me looking worn and piling. I checked my ivory one and noticed that it will eventually do the same thing, but probably won't be as noticeable as the black color. Just something to think about and consider. I do plan to return the black one, and may have to opt for a smiliar looking dress by a different brand.
