not water resistant at all!
I got these to wear on the trail. I stepped into a little water and my feet were soaked. Not very happy with my purchase and probably won’t wear them again.

Great Comfortable shoe on a trail hike
Second pair of On shoes as the fit has worked well for my big somewhat narrow foot. Definitely order a size up. My running shoes are 13 , but the 14 fits much better in this trail shoe. Not as water repellent as hoped but adequate.
The show bottom has wide openings that attract pebbles and get stuck. It is definitely a stable shoe for trails. It’s not perfect but the comfort alone is worth the purchase.

The Best trail shoe ever!
This is the best Trail/Running shoe I have ever purchased! Super comfy, and the design and detail are unique looking. All around great outdoor shoe....don’t hesitate!

On Trail Running Shoe
We ordered the shoe in the color shadow rock. The shoe is good looking, but the toe comes up very high & it's stiff so if you have a high arch it's a problem. Unfortunately I returned the shoe. We ordered the On Cloudventure Waterproof trail running shoe and liked it so much, we've ordered another pair.

Great shoe
Purchased the Shadow/Rock color for my husband in his street shoe size 14. Fit is perfect. No break in required. These are lightweight and breathable but not necessarily water repellent as described. Two issues: pebbles can get stuck in the soles (not a huge problem, but worth a note) and they can be a little slippery on smooth, wet surfaces. Otherwise super comfortable. The perfect short hike and out and about athletic shoe if you want more support than the On Clouds provide.
