Cabana Stretch Cotton Thong

I used to work in the lingerie department at Nordstrom’s and these are my personal favorite underwear. They are soft, stretchy, have nice coverage, and are mid rise. Everything I could want!

These panties are the best. They’re cotton, which is a big deal. They are soft and stretchy but not loose or baggy. The fit is perfect, No binding or narrowing in the crotch area as the day goes on. They’re simple and cute. I bought my first pair of these maybe 12 years ago, loved them, and could t find them again. I didn’t want mesh or lace or nylon—I wanted On Gossamer cotton thongs. Must have been my lucky day when, Lo! In sale at Nordstrom! I must have 30 pairs of (mostly spendy) panties and these are my hands down favorites. Yours too, I’ll bet.

First, these are extremely soft and flex well for working out or everyday use. Second, yes, they are completely worth the money, especially for those like me who are solely thong wearers. I have a large, round butt, but small waist. For those long time thong wearers you know that thongs are comfy IF they fit properly. These finally do. They have enough material length going between the legs so that the waist band can reach up to sit up and over the cheeks (I hope that was described properly). This prevents any wedges. For some reason these days most companies are focusing on the low-rise quality so even when I bought thongs 2 sizes too big for my waist I would still get wedgies while the front was loose and baggie. I bought one as trial, then immediately bought 3 more and will be buying more to stock up in case, god forbid, they discontinue these.

I replaced all my old thongs with this style after trying out a few pairs. The cotton is smooth and the edges don't pinch. It is the most comfortable panty I have ever worn. I'm 5'3", 120 lbs and got size S/M. I'm usually a Small so the S/M size is comfortable with lots of stretch left for those on the Medium end of the spectrum. It is a quality garment. I bought over a week's worth in black and beige. I had trouble with cheap undies with a narrow crotch that resulted in awful front-wedgies but the Cabana style offers great coverage. The point where the thong and waistband meet is sewn and makes a very subtle sweetheart shape (does that make sense?) which is very flattering.

I've been buying these thongs for years, even though I'm no spring chicken! I have loved thongs for many years, even when it was very hard to find them (but one could, especially in NYC). Great fit, great for working out and everyday wear.

This is usually my go-to undie. I bought more and this batch came cut with access fabric and were saggy looking on.
