Kahiko Ko'o Sandal (Women)

I bought these sandals for a 3 week trip to Europe and was so happy with their comfort and stability. I didn't have a chance to break them in before I left but I was able to wear them all day without chafing or rubbing from the start. I was surprised at how well they worked on cobblestone streets and uneven surfaces. They wear like an athletic sandal but are much more stylish.

Beautiful leather insole, as well as in the soft straps, good cushioning, and an adjustable ankle strap. That makes for an exceptionally comfortable sandal, even for a very particular customer. I would caution that straps across the forefoot don't adjust, and seemed to fit a slim foot best. I also appreciate the grey, which looks more like a medium charcoal to me.

This has been my go-to sandal this summer. I typically walk at least one mile in them at a time and have definitely walked further without any problem! They are extremely comfortable, more so than my Birkenstocks! I have a slim foot and the front straps were initially a bit tight (not uncomfortably so), but they have relaxed. I would give these five stars but they don't seem to be the greatest quality for the price. While I have worn them a fair amount (light walking 3 days per week for 10 weeks), the leather upper on the front flat strap and the back strap has gotten a bit wrinkled, and the top of the shoe (near the toe box) appears a little worn from accidentally scraping it on the pavement a couple times. Overall they are super comfortable, but wish they still looked brand new for the price I paid. I really hope these shoes last through next summer as well. I've gotten lots of compliments!
