Extremely high quality leather
I’ve had these shoes for a little over two years going on three. I don’t wear them all the time, but I wear them all through stuff and long enough to say their excellent build the quality.
They do take some time to break in, but the leather does not have any crazy creasing at the toe. These shoes still appear to look like they did when they were new.

Not as shown
Although I realy liked the overall profile of the shoe I couldnt stick with them knowing that the advertisement from either Nordstrom or Oliver Cabell was false.
1. Shoes are not made italy as they once were, the inside of the shoe clearly says made in Vietnam.
2. The pictures do not show a new mesh material around the ankle portion of the shoes. This get dirty fast and is not as easy to clean.
3. The front portion of the shoe had a big uneven gap between the sole of the shoe and the top. Easy to water or dirt to accumulate there.
Overall I appreciate Nordstorm taking these shoes back though but they need to vet their providers more.

CHEAPLY MADE - NOT THE ORIGINAL ITALIAN MADE SHOES
I've owned 3 pairs of OC shoes prior to them being carried at Nordstrom. I was pleased when Nordstrom started selling OC as the buying process is much better. I ordered a new pair of white originals and they are junk. The previous shoes were Italian leather and much more sleek. These are chunky and the toe leather has already wrinkled after 2 days of wear. The previous versions have no toe wrinkles after years of wear. They went the cheap route and it's clear people are noticing. These are going back! Not worth the price, there are far better alternatives.

Most overrated sneakers
These are no doubt the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever purchased. Way over priced. The size is true but the top of the shoe is so tight. Been wearing them for a week and they are impossible to break in. Super stiff. This is an overhyped brand that over charges for hype. Pass.

Noticeable Imperfections
I love the shoes. Unfortunately, I had to return them twice due to imperfections. Quality control missed this twice on two different pairs.

Disappointing experience for my husband
Damaged box, missing dust bag, marks on soles…not what I’d expect from a premium brand or premium retailer. It was obviously these were someone else’s return. Ordered a replacement and hopefully a better experience.
