No. 0 Intensive Bond Building Hair Treatment

This is the first Olaplex product that I’ve tried and wow am I impressed. I have fine, color-treated hair, and while I really wouldn’t consider my hair damaged, it definitely puts up with some wear and tear. My absolute best hair days are the ones when I’ve used this treatment. I leave the 0 on for about twice as long as suggested and then follow up with the 3 (a sample is included with the 0), which I leave on for about an hour. I can’t recommend this product enough. I loathe the feeling that many products leave in my fine hair, but this just leaves me with hair that looks and feels better than ever.

I use and like many Olaplex products (currently using #3, #4, #5, and #6), but this one made my head itch in an alarming fashion, and my skin and scalp are not particularly sensitive. I also didn’t feel it worked any better than #3 alone. As other reviewers have said, it’s strangely difficult to apply because of its watery consistency. For the first time I felt that Olaplex just wanted to sell me something new, not necessarily something good. Unfortunately, it’s not worth the money and the effort.
