The shoes are ideal for concrete floors

Poor quality
Heel is starting to peel after < 100km. Tread is great fits is great, the insoles are weird your foot can push out the material so you're sitting on empty insole space as it doesn't wrap up in the toe box.

Underwhelming
Bought these for a 250km trek in Portugal on the Rota Vincentia Positive: Gore-Tex is great, treads holding up. Negative: very poor insoles, not breathable and heel material is ripping after 200km

Comfy and Dry
Great shoes! One of the most comfortable pairs I have had in a long time. Straight out of the box they were cushy and comfy, no break in period. Have kept my feet dry on lots of Seattle rainy days. Will definitely be getting a pair of non Gore-Tex once things start to dry out around here.

Terrible
They are not water proof. This morning I ran in Portugal under rain. Feet got soaked. OK on wet asphalt in Portugal. But slippery at +1 in Canada. if colder and snow get SALOMON. I advise not to advertise them as "off trail".
