Yamazaki is equal to Love Design
I love Yamazaki design and engineering of their fine products so much that I find ways to use their products. I love this box for its utilitarian aesthetic and its beauty. The hardwood top is so pretty with the black metal base. If you ever read any negative reviews on any of their products I’m sure it’s user abuse. These items are made to last. Every item I’ve purchased is like a gift that keeps giving. I truly just love these products and this box is a beauty.

Big but heavy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought two. Beautiful but because the body is made of steel, they're very heavy and somewhat unwieldy. Makes more sense to keep them on a counter top with minimal movement. One I use for makeup and the other I use for medication supplies and there is ample space.
