Modern jeans for the modern world
About ten years ago I lived in black Alina skinny jeans from NYDJ. I know I had a number of NYDJ pants: coated pants, other colors, plus what I called "the novelty pants" polka dot, picnic check, and so on. I guess this was after my descent into Diesel, Hudson, Citizens for or of Humanity, Seven for all Mankind and so on. Some of which had NO stretch at all or extremely minimal stretch. That's why I turned to the Alina pants from NYDJ. Skinnies with a good amount of give and snap back. Now of course, skinny jeans are out. Enter Sheri, so reminiscent of my beloved black Alina pants. They look great and feel absolutely amazing on. I am 5'4" so technically I guess I am petite, but I can really wear either. I bought these first in 4P and though they fit, they seemed short. It's been such a struggle to figure out my true new size. I used to be 29/8, but I am thinner now, so in most things, 6 is my size. 6P Sheri feels made for me.

Way too small!
I’m a size 6 in just about everything, and I could barely get these on and zipped! They were super tight all over. Returning.

FABULOUS!
Fit is perfect, color is perfect—a rich, velvety black. Have had so much trouble lately finding NYDJ that fit correctly, they’re running larger and MUCH longer. I’m 5’4” & bought a petite & these are perfection.

Perfection in fit and comfort
I have been trying to find a basic black everyday pants to wear. Like many others have stated , some NYDJ pants have become WAY too long. I am 5 feet, 6 1/2 inches tall and this 29 1/2 inch length is perfect. Better yet, the 91% cotton fabric, combined with stretchy materials, makes this so comfortable and flattering (not too clingy for my curves). I went back to order another size 18 (or a 14W) and sadly, they were sold out. However, I am trying another Sheri Slim style that I hope will work. This will be my new style to keep trying.

Disappointed...
Fit perfectly when I put them on, and then hours later they were falling off of me. I have reordered in a smaller size, but my guess is these have just way too much stretch to stay nice looking all day.

Didn’t fit
Based on reviews re the regular length being way too long, I ordered P6 in black. They were too short (for my taste) and I’m only 5’4”/wt 135. They were also a little tight (argh, it’s the holidays) so I had to return them since my other jeans still fit. They probably deserve a 5star rating as they were really nice jeans! Still looking.
