Comfortable, yet stylish
Lovely jean that washed well, although I did hang to dry. Color is nice in that it is not too light, yet not too dark if that is what you're looking for. Same excellent quality of NYDJ, ordered my regular size 4, (am 5 ft 3 in and 112 lbs) and the fit was spot on. The leg on these is a slimmer straight leg, not tight. Very flattering.

Color way off and stinky
They fit okay (a bit roomy through the thighs). If I had gotten a size 12, the waist would have been uncomfortably tight. The color that arrived was not remotely like the color shown. It was a very dark denim. The odor was untenable. I was afraid to remove tags and wash them because if the odor didn't go away, I wouldn't be able to return them. I hung them up outside hoping the sun and fresh air would remedy the problem but alas, no luck. So....even though they were a stellar deal for NYDJ, the fit, color and odor had me sending them back.

Small in the waist.
Lately NYJD doesn't seem to be a good fit for me. I'm normally a size 12 but these were way too tight in the belly. I do have a little belly right now but these just seem really small in the waist which is a problem I've been having with NYDJ. The 12 is too tight in the waist and the 14 is too big in the legs. Had to return.

I really wanted these to fit
I really liked the fabric quality of the jeans. I loved the color but the waist in the back was too big. He gave me the dreaded gap in the back. The back of the waist could’ve been about an inch higher too.
