Marilyn jeans always fit me well
I think I've owned 20 pairs of NYDJ jeans over a similar number of years. Most of them have been Marilyn, although I've had some great trouser jeans as well. Even as a young woman, I had a womanly figure with broad hips and a relatively narrow waist. Marilyn is a good style for an hourglass woman. That said, I've added some pandemic pounds and went up a size this year. At 5' 3" but with a short torso, I can kind of wear either regular or petites in this brand (my ideal inseam is 29.5", so petite is better.) I'm okay with the trending, lighter wash, but, now that I'm a middle aged grown up, I'll admit to finding dark denim fundamentally more luxe and appealing aesthetically. The lighter wash is nice for cooler days in summer, though.

Not a Petite
Have worn NYDJ for years, always a petite fit me in the length perfectly. Last 2 pair I have ordered have been 1-1/2 inch too long, they have changed their sizing, very disappointing.

Perfect jeans!
Amazed that these jeans are an almost perfect fit, length and all. They have a couple of distress marks, one on the left pocket and the other on the right thigh - fashionable, I guess.

Pants Runs Long
I sized down like others recommended because NYJD jeans have stretch and I needed to size down for my other pair as well. Waist fits well but the pants run very long and would need to be altered.
