Marilyn Ankle Straight Leg Jeans

I have a really hard time with jeans because my waist and hips/butt offset is fairly significant. These jeans are perfect for that, they're very stretchy, but don't get baggy throughout the day. They're a nice, thick, but not too heavy, denim. As many other reviews, I do recommend sizing down. I only took off one star because I wish they were slightly higher waisted, but the picture pretty accurately depicts the height of the rise.

The melon color is very lovely and the workmanship is good. They run large compared to my other NYDJ pants. Due to the soft stretchy fabric, I was afraid that they would bag out even more when worn. In addition, the online photo of the melon pair shows them hitting at the ankle, whereas the photo of the magenta pair shows them as crops. Indeed, the pair I received was a crop length with a wider leg, like the photo of the magenta photo. (I am fairly short, so crops usually hit near my ankles.) Also, the color in the waist area varies from the light to a darker melon, giving the effect of stonewashed jeans. As much as I wanted o love these, I didn't. Maybe you'll like them more.
