Great denim short
Bought this to replace another NYDJ denim short that I love. Good fit, perfect length and comfortable. Ordered one size smaller because it will stretch after use.

These shorts were too long and the leg sizing was awkward. Tried rolling them up and that didn’t work. I bought a size 16 and they were slightly too large but a 14 would have been too small. There was a lot of denim and I just felt frumpy in them.

Flattering and Affordable
I was searching for a nice pair of denim shorts that I could wear out at the beach this summer. I'm 5'6"at about 135 lbs and I wear size 30 in Frame, but I didn't want to spend a fortune on shorts so I decided to try this line. The Ella side slit shorts look really nice and fit great at size 8. I liked them so much that I purchased the lighter denim as well as the white.

I found these NYDJ shorts to run small. I ordered a size down but they were way too tight. I’m typically a size 6-8 and the 6 were too small. This pair is not consistent as other NYDJ denim is. I didn’t care for the wash in person either, will return.

Attractive and Fit Well
I needed a better-looking pair of denim shorts than my old, ratty cut-offs, and tried these in my normal NYDJ size of 14. (I wear 16 in other brands.) They are exactly what I needed--casual, comfortable, nice-looking. Recommended.
