Not mid-rise
I like how these fit and the fabric was thin and stretchy and felt good. But I can't stand a waistband at my belly button or higher and this rise covered my belly button. Mid-rise should be below the belly button people!
I'm 5'7" and the length was just a little bit long so I'd need shoes with at least a 1" heel with these.

I would recommend this pair of jeans
Very soft jeans, very comfortable. I have these in black so I was happy to find in regular indigo. They do have a lot of stretch which helps when you need it. I hope they make these in white because I could use a pair in that color. Full disclosure I am not totally comfortable tucking in a shirt as I feel like I still show a bit of a fupa but I really don't do that very often. Also could likely be just my problem.

These jeans are light to medium weight and very soft. The dark blue Northbridge wash is flattering. The inseam on these is 32 so, if you're under 5'6", may require alterations, otherwise TTS.
