Yes it has low limits but it’s amazing
I did extensive research on rotating seats versus some nicer stationary seats. Having a larger taller car I knew I wanted rotating.
Yes the limit is 40 lbs and 43”
My friends very tall 3 year old still is just barely with in the limits. Our kid is pretty high in percentile but I think we will be able to use the seat until he’s well into his third year and having it rotate will make getting him in/out easier as well as keeping him rear facing as long as possible.
Currently there are a cybex, Graco, evenflo and baby jogger rotating seat out there. All of which have things I disliked.
The revv rotates 360 forward or rear facing, has magnet harness clips that work soo well and is very cushy and comfortable for the baby.
It doesn’t swing out towards the front seat like the baby jogger does, and it doesn’t swing loosely it’s a perfect stiffness if that makes sense. It stays out when you’re putting the kid in the seat.
Loved the anti rebound and how the seat belt goes behind it unlike the baby jogger which got in the way of my 9 month olds foot. The city turn (baby jogger) was my second choice since it can go to A booster but there were so many annoyances with the seat we decided to pay more for the more comfortable seat with better features.
I also learned with one for life seats sometimes the booster belt mode ia so high the seat belt will lock when kids try to Buckle themselves so I’m happy to buy a new seat for harness booster mode and up once this seat has reached the limits.
Yes it’s spendy but it’s currently the best one with the best features which is part of what you’re buying.

Buyer beware
After having this carseat for a year, I no longer believe it to be safe. It rattles super loud and the seat shakes. I contacted customer support and was told to "add weight" and that it was "normal". Not a solution since it rattles with or without my child in it, and completely ridiculous either way. I will have to throw this one out, an expensive waste, and purchase something I'm confident will keep my baby safe. Started out great, but definitely not something I'd invest in had I known.

NEEDS HIGHER WEIGHT LIMIT
If this had the same weight limit as the Rava this would be Nuna’s best seller. They had the chance to raise the weight limit when they reworked the model last month, but instead they chose to make it a couple pounds lighter which doesn’t matter much because it always stays in its base anyways. Cybex has one that rotates and goes up to 65 lbs so it’s possible and it’s what parents need.

much nicer than the Cybex Serona S
I own the Cybex swivel car seat, but decided to purchase this one for my second child.
This one swivels so much easier and looks much nicer. I love the double cup holders & sleek leather accents.
I am going to order another one so both my girls can have matching seats!

This is THE best. A little smaller than the rava. LOVE the swivel feature. Makes it so much easier to get baby in and out (especially for those tight parking spots). We have five nuna car seats (four different models), this is by far my favorite!

The Rolls Royce of car seats
If you are wondering whether you should get the Rava or the Revv, get the Revv. This is absolutely the most high quality, beautiful, functional and amazing car seat. The swivel feature is phenomenal- it is so easy to use, and it makes getting in and out of the car a breeze. Install is simple, 10 mins max. The car seat itself is so Lux and comfy, our baby loves being in it - the buckle is easy to use, it looks great. I wish I would have bought it sooner, baby is 6 months now but I would use this starting at 3 months if we have another. Yes, it doesn’t have the same max weight as the Rava… but I could care less. If we have this for even 3 years it’s worth it. Best thing we’ve bought so far.
Also, picture shows the Hazlewood color. We bought the blue for my husband and this color for me.. goes perfectly with a light tan interior. Just stunning!
