I wouldn’t love my Pipa Lite RX if it wasn’t for this footmuff. She is so cozy with it. We have another Pipa car seat but it’s not compatible with the footmuff and she’s always happier in the lite RX because of this. Everywhere we go, people comment that all car seats should have this feature. I can’t imagine going back to having a car seat without it. It will be sad when she outgrows this seat. Don’t listen to the other reviews, this is worth every penny.

Poor design
Footmuff does not stay on well as the magnets are not very strong and probably can only be used for a newborn with short legs. I do not recommend thia purchase at all.

Great buy for cold winters!
Great buy for cold winters! We were able to get a lot of use out of this. Easy to put on and kept our baby warm. I will say this is best for younger babies though. When our baby got older he was able to start kicking it off since it is magnetized. Our baby still fits in the infant car seat but I don’t think we will be able to keep it on this winter. We definitely love this product though! The only complaint is that we wish it could attach more securely.

Ultimately disappointed with this product.
Unfortunately this product did not meet my expectation. The footmuff wraps around the bottom of the Pipa lite rx, which is finicky to get on but always slipping off. The magnets intended to keep it up aren’t strong enough so I’m constantly re adjusting the entire mechanism. Also struggling to see how this can possibly be advertised as a protectant against weather. I am a Nuna product lover but am disappointed by this one.

Not a perfect fit
The item is great at keeping me baby warm and the quality is amazing. The only issue I have is that the magnetic latch that is suppose to keep the wing down doesn’t reach both sides so one flap is always not connected.

Could use some tinkering
If your objective is to keep your baby warm than this will check your box. From a functionality standard point however, the pipa lite system relies a lot on the use of magnets. This in theory is much easier than snaps or clips but it is much less sturdy. Our 6 week old baby is strong enough to lift the part covering him off the magnets. It doesn't fall off but it now isn't blocking the wind as well.
