LEAF^™ Grow Baby Seat with Toy Bar

We got a different baby swing at my baby shower and my baby did not like it. At most she sits in it for a few minutes then start to cry and cry. I went looking at different swings and rockers and I came across the Nuna LEAF Grow. What won me over was that it holds up to 130 lbs. Other brands are just as pricey and only go up to maybe 30-35 lbs. Instantly my Baby Loved this right when it arrived! She has taken naps in it and loves to play with the toy bar. She seems comfortable in it and not forced to sit upright like other ones. Well worth it! I’m going to purchase another one for my mom’s house for when I’m at work and she watches her!

It’s got a cool concept but created more work, rather than less work for us. I was told it swayed back and fourth but I didn’t know I was going to have to keep pushing it... and only swaying for seconds at a time did not work to keep our baby soothed and calm, rather it irritated her, and us constantly having to walk over and push it! I was relieved when I heard news that there was a device for an extra $100 dollars that would keep it in motion so we didn’t have to keep pushing it. Upon searching I couldn’t find anywhere that had them in stock. After reading multiple reviews, I saw where people had bought 2-3, even 4 of these devices and they would all wear out within days/weeks and so they have been pulled off the shelves and as of now, they no longer sell this device here in the US anyways. I was able to find a place in Canada that sold them for a ridiculous $150 dollars, BUT, they wouldn’t ship to the US. I even considered keeping it just so that our daughter could play with the toys on the arch without using any swaying motion, but of course the toy arch kept falling off, ALL THE TIME, and it was very annoying, especially because the arch would pop off directly onto baby. Within days I knew this was not going to work and I ended up returning this item. I did find it really great that it can hold a child up to 130 pounds, that’s heavier than me! Awesome concept, so that as they grow they can keep using it. However I needed it to be useful NOW for our new baby and using it just a children’s chair that costs almost $300 is silly. It’s also made very sturdy but the downside is that it’s very heavy and kind of Obnoxious when you want to move it. Personally, this was not for us.

Our newborn and toddler loves the Nuna Grow. Be sure to get the Nuna Wind attachment if you do not want to swing it back and forth. The Nuna Grow does not include the base plate to attach the Wind but you can use thick double sided tape to attach it to the base. I had to order my Nuna Wind attachment from a store in Canada since it’s not sold in the US anymore. The metal construction stands up really well and the 100+lbs weight limit amazing.

I’m in love with my Nuna Leaf! It was easy to set up since I’m 38 weeks pregnant. It’s sturdy and weight limit is 130 lbs. I’m excited to see my baby girl use it. Yes you have to manually sway your baby each time it stops, but I prefer this method since I don’t want her to depend on it. It’s pricey, but worth the money! Thanks Nuna!

When you’re buying baby gear there are always items that you wonder - is it worth it? I just want to say- THIS CHAIR IS. It is comfortable for a baby when they’re infants and it grows with them all the way to 135 lbs. WHAT? Unheard of. The build is so solid and the mesh backing makes it very breathable. The covers are easy to remove and wash, I love the 3 reclining positions, and the swaying motion is very smooth. Definitely something you can buy for baby #1 and use for #2 down the line or if you’re a one and done - your child can grow into this chair for years to come. Spend the money, you won’t regret it and you also won’t be looking for another chair when they outgrow the 35lb weight limit most baby chairs have.
