Notting Hill 20 Piece Set

I purchased Notting Hill for everyday wear. I was so happy with the look, brilliant, polished shine, and shape. Unfortunately, what I didn’t take into consideration is the brilliant polished finish. The oils from my hands (I don’t use any lotion) smudge the stainless, and the flatware never looks its best unless it is wiped with a cloth or polished before putting it away and then again before placing it on the table. It never looks its best; it looks dirty after being touched and distracts during the meal. That aside, they are beautiful and of substantial weight, and the oddly sized spoons don’t bother me.

The design is lovely, in fact many of this company's designs are lovely and elegant, however the soup spoons are enormous. My husband, an average sized man, says he'd like to see a video of a man eating with this spoon - he thinks it's impossible. Unfortunately, need to return, and won't buy this manufacturer's flatware. So sorry.
