North Shearling Hiker Boot

I sized up a full size (I take a 9 in a boot an ordered a 10 - my foot slips forward a bit when walking but to me they fit perfect and a 9.5 would be too small) These are warm for Michigan winters, and a well made boot. If you have a wider foot - these will be an issue more than likely. They have a good tread to not slip on Michigan ice. I would say they run just a tad narrower than a boot such as vionic - but my B foot was just fine in them, and not getting pinched at all. Sadly I'm not certain I will keep these - as the lug sole is somewhat heavy and I have knee issues - so its like lugging around added weights on my knees - disappointed. These are exactly as shown including the color. I like good quality footwear, and these are definitely that and wonderfully made. Giving 4 stars due to the solid heavy lug sole - they need a better design on fixing the weight issue of the heel for us knee challenged people. Thank you Nordies for offering such a beautiful boot...I just love my Nordies!
