Velveteen Grid Quilt & Sham Set

I wanted red bedding for Christmas, plus it’s gotten cold, ordered this beautiful set. The red in daylight has pink tones, which work in my house, but this isn’t a true lipstick red. It is sumptuous, soft, warm & I love it enough to order a second in a different color. It does pick up dog hair, which has been challenging to remove.

If I hadn't thrown out the packaging, I would have sent this back. I truly feel I threw my money down the drain. The underside of this quilt is made of a very fragile material, and already has several small holes. I tried to mend them, but the nature of the fabric makes it very difficult. If you're buying this for a bed you'll never use, it's perfect. But if you're buying this to use it, to have an actual life around, don't bother. Oh, it's also a very very warm quilt for those of you who may sleep hot. And for those who may still go forward with the purchase, the grey nickel is indeed grey.
