Vanna Bootie (Women)

I was hesitant, since there weren't any reviews prior to my buying these, but I was very pleased when they arrived! They look great and are extremely comfortable to walk in. I work in a job where I am on my feet all day, I am able to last in these without any issues. Length and width are true to size. Good traction, too (no slippery soles). One thing to note is that they are quite stiff, especially the front shin area above the ankle, but they do break themselves in after a few wears, and I don't even notice it anymore. Overall, very beautiful boot especially for the price. Leather is good quality, and the boot itself is comfortable and sleek.

I ordered this boot and a pair of Franco Sarto boots, both on sale for about the same price. Upon trying both on, I immediately decided to keep the Franco Sartos because they were more comfortable. Had I not had another boot to compare these to, I might have kept them, but only at the sale price. They don't feel like a boot worth paying $139 for but that's my opinion. Although the shaft is a bit stiff, I like the taller height because they can be worn with crop jeans. The heel height was perfect for me (I can't do really high heels) and walking was very comfortable, however, the inside of the boots are very hard. There doesn't seem to be any padding on the insole so had I kept them, I would have needed to get some sort of cushion for the balls of my feet at the very least. They're fairly true to size, maybe a bit on the large side. I'm usually an 8 - 8.5 and usually order boots in an 8.5 so I can wear thicker socks. The 8.5 felt kind of loose even with thick socks. I do think they're very stylish boots and more of a classic look than a trendy look.
