Great more-than-basic black dress
This dress is a great more-than-basic black maxi dress. Fabric is soft and thick enough that it drapes nicely and is "forgiving." It's easy to accessories so, as mentioned by other reviewers, it can be dressed up or down. So long as the color doesn't fade, I can see myself having--and wearing--this dress for years. Lastly, this dress is also bump-friendly.

too large on top and too small on hips
If you are a pear figure like me, this is not your dress. The hips were way to fitted and the arm holes way too large...my bra was showing in the arm opening. Sadly all going back. I tried 2 sizes ( M and L) and niehter worked.

Purchased this adorable midi dress in green and it’s a beautiful color! It’s quite fitted on top then flowy below waist just as pictured. I’m 5’5” and it falls to my ankles so will be shortening just a bit. I’m 34D and just fit into the small, so be aware that the top part is pretty fitted. Really love this dress!

Not breezy.
Sadly, not breezy like the description says, instead the fabric is heavy (yet thin). Fit is great in the chest, but lower, my mild mama tummy was accentuated like a bodycon fit. The white fabric is too thin to not wear seamless, skin colored underwear, which still might show through the fabric, so shape wear would be obvious.
The quality is really nice, TTS, good stitching, long length, and made my shoulders look great, so I was bummed.
I think a darker color with shape wear might help, but it's still weightier fabric than I'd like for summer.
For reference, I'm 5'6", 125 lbs, flattish B cup, no curves, mama tummy.
