Cashmere V-Neck Sweater

I loved how this sweater fit. I bought the v-necks in black and grey, and the crew neck in black. Have worn each of them 3 times and they are covered in pills and look like they were put through the ringer many times (I haven’t even attempted to wash them yet). I was nothing but gentle while wearing them…. I am terribly disappointed in these Nordstrom Signature sweaters. Just an FYI: this is the first negative review I have ever written.

I am 5'8" tall with a 40C bust and a size 14/16 figure. I ordered my usual size XL. PROS: Beautiful classic and neutral camel color in a super soft cashmere knit. The garment and sleeve length are as shown. I find the v-neck very flattering. CONS: This style is not my preferred silhouette - very snug arms, dropped shoulder and a very full body.

I read a number of reviews saying these were scratchy, that’s not my experience. I’m super picky about wool/cashmere but this was nice and soft - comparable with my favorite J Crew sweater. The caramel color and fit are also really flattering on me. - 5’, 132#, size M because I like oversized seaters.

I purchased my first Cashmere V-Neck sweater in 1983 at Nordstroms Hillsdale and I loved it and wore it forever, I was so happy to see these and ordered the Grey, when I received it I was so happy with the fit and look I ordered another one in the Oatmeal color. I hope it is the same quality as the first one I purchased I love the way it looks with a pair of jeans with a crew neck t-shirt underneath. Very classic with a little blazer or Moto- jacket, penny loafers with a Prada Backpack or Gucci tote.
