Maraise Ballet Flat

I wasn't sure what to expect from Nordstrom's house branded items but I am very impressed! These flats are so comfortable right out of the box and the deep red color is to die for. I don't foresee any blisters. The leather is so soft and supple and I think will be the type to wear well with age (at least the red pair). The footbed is padded nicely. I got a size 7 and I feel that it is the slightest smidge large, but I'm not going to size down because I feel this will allow for comfort when your feet swell by the end of the day. The strap is actually adjustable and not just for show. I can comfortably wear socks/tights with them without feeling like stuffed sausages. I have medium width feet and the strap fits comfortably at the shortest hole. If you have narrow feet, I'd say maybe go down half a size. The anniversary sale price is a steal and I'm actually considering buying another color!
