Luxury Lyocell & Linen Duvet Cover & Sham Set

These sheets are definitely not luxury. I never leave reviews but I had such a bad experience with these that I felt I had to. I couldn't even spend more than five minutes in without needing to completely change my bedding. Another annoying details: the matching duvet cover has heavy metal snaps instead of ties, so they clang in your dryer. The pillowcases do not have a retaining flap for your pillow, and the shams are slightly too small. I immediately washed and dried them, thinking they would get softer, but it didn't make a difference. Even after the first wash they were still very dusty and put dust everywhere when I made the bed. The look of these is not bad, but the handfeel is rough and abrasive. I didn't truly notice until I felt the fabric on my back and neck. Even though I spent only a few minutes in them I still feel itchy from them the next day and will have to take a shower. I often wear linen clothing against my skin and never have a problem. My only experience with Lycocell is with Tencel clothing, which I have always experienced as soft. So I expected these to be, if anything, softer and smoother than linen. They almost feel as a bad as a burlap sack.
