Low Back Strap 1-Hook Bra Attachment

I had high hopes for this bra attachment, since it seems like a creative and simple way to wear a lower-back shirt without purchasing a different bra. Unfortunately the band itself doesn't lower the back more than about 1.5 inches, most of which is in the center. I was unable to replicate the version that the model shows above, since the band was constantly riding up in both back and front. Double stick tape might hold it in place, but it wasn't comfortable. The 1-hook works well for bras that only have a single hook. I tried it on a 2-hook closure to see if it was versatile enough to work, and it looks odd; it doesn't lay flat.
